SOCIAL WELFARE IN MODERN CONDITIONS AS SCIENTIFIC AND EDUCATIONAL PROBLEM

Surtaeva N.N., Margolinа J.B.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of social well-being, which is topical for pedagogical education and pedagogical science. The appeal to the problem of social well-being as a marker for the satisfaction and success of the life of modern man is explained by the need to study the human adaptive mechanisms in the conditions of global systemic changes. The changes that occur in all spheres of the life activity of human society have a significant effect on changes in the person's ideas about the eternally existing categories-understanding the meaning of his life and the requirements for the quality of life. The urgency of the problem is also due to the attention of politics and the humanities to the development of human capital. It is within this trend that education is now seen as the leading factor in the development of the individual, providing a person with an opportunity to navigate in a changing social and economic situation, in the transformation of the world of professions, the transformation of professional education in a world of systemic changes that deforms the subjective notion of one's own social well-being. At the present stage, the stage of systemic changes in the world and in society, the problems of studying the phenomenon of social well-being become even more difficult for various reasons. The complex stage of the socio-economic development of society, the deformation of basic life values, determined the need to include in the curricula of many higher educational institutions the course «Modern theories of social well-being», which marked a number of didactic problems. In the article attention is drawn to a number of these problems, and first of all, the absence in the humanities today of an unambiguous interpretation of the very term «well-being». The article considers various (domestic and foreign) points of view on the notion of «well-being», and generalizes the experience of teaching this course for six years (from 2010 to 2016) for students of Russian universities studying in the pedagogical direction.

THE CURRENT LEVELS OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT AND PECULIARITIES OF THEIR INTERRELATION IN PRESCHOOLERS OF 5-6 YEARS OLD IN THE CONDITONS OF MID-OB REGION

Batantsev N.I., Barbashov S.V.

Abstract

The role of physical education in the formation of children's personality is often underestimated. In this context, an attempt to examine current levels of performance and features of the relationship of the physical and mental development of preschool children was made. The study involved 50 children of 5-6 years old attending MBDOU №14 «Berezka» in Khanty-Mansiysk. Methods of analysis of scientific and methodical literature, pedagogical and psychological testing, methods of mathematical statistics were used in the research. Analysis of the current levels of development of physical qualities showed that only the power of legs in the test «broad jump from a place» demonstrates a sufficient level of development (the total share of the results of levels «above average» and «high» was - 60.7%). Average level is recorded in throwing balls at a distance with a right hand - 31.4%, in a position of bending forward with a measurement of depth - 56.8%, in running on the 300 m distance - 35.3%. A number of indicators showed superiority in the low and below average. So, in throwing the ball at a distance the total index measure of these low and below average levels amounted to 78.4%, in the rise in the trunk in 30 seconds exercise - 70.6%, in the women's 300 meters was - 53%, in running on the 30 m distance - 64, 7%. According to the results of mental development studies, the rate of an average level falls within the range from 25% to 50%, i.e. in terms of statistics it is the norm. If 30% falls into the mid-level range, it should be equally as in the direction of high-level and upper-middle and towards the low and lower-middle. However, in this case the preponderance of levels «low» and «below average» reveals, where the total index of spatial visualization ability by the conventional method amounted to - 58%, the rate of verbal and logical thinking by the conventional method amounted to - 46%, the rate of visual-figurative thinking on the modified procedure was - 57%, the rate of verbal and logical thinking using a modified procedure was - 47%. To determine the relationship, intellectual development indicators were compared with the results of the implementation of children motor tests. A reliable correlation was found between the index of the left hand muscle strength and spatial visualization ability (rs = 0,394). Also, a large spread of the correlation coefficient, which is located primarily in the redistribution of from 0.03 to 0.394 was discovered. An analysis of the relationship of the physical and mental development with the theoretically informed interaction demonstrates the absence of such links on a practical level. The solution to this problem, as our empirical experience shows, is in the systematic inclusion of exercises and motor tasks of sports and the game character with an emphasis on thinking processes in the practice of physical education of preschool children.

THE DENSITY OF PASSING THE COMPETITION TRACK IN SPORTS CLIMBING

Kotchenko Y.V.

Abstract

The finding of the ways to evaluate the emulative efficiency in sports climbing requires the investigation of regularity of the emulative process. On the basis of the many years of researches was determined the number of factors which influenced on result within the passing of emulative track. One of these factors is the density of performance. Over the many years of researches were investigated the performances of the sportswomen with the high level of training on international competitions in climbing discipline “difficulty” ( п = 1639). It was determined that the highest possible values of density of climbing (up to 100%) are very rare. These values occur in two cases: when the sportswoman with the low level of training passes the difficult track, and when the well-qualified sportswoman passes the easiest track. The concentration of maximum and similar to them figures of density is observed in the area of the low and medium values of sports result, and it reduced in the final stage of performance. The obtained data allow concluding that there is a low degree of connection of the density with the result of performance at the qualifying stage of the competitions: R = - 0.13, for common group ( п = 483), which includes figures of sportswomen with both high and low levels of training. In the semi-final stage, when the sportswomen with the low level of training are eliminated, the degree of connection of factor with the result increases up to R = 0.30, also the level of importance of connection increases too. The average figure of density of climbing in the semifinal and final tracks is 85.8%, and this value just slightly differs from the group of finalists of world competitions: 84.8%. The most common density figures among sportswomen, which demonstrating high sports results, are in the range of 80-90%. The connection of the density of climbing with the result takes the form of the nonlinear dependence of the U-shaped type, and it is described by a polynomial of the third degree, which allows to calculate the motion of an individual schedule for emulative track with given figures of density, depending on the planned result at the certain stage of performance. The regression analysis showed that the component of the result associated with the optimum choice of density, depending on the number of factors taken into account, is in the range β п = (0,030, 0,082). In the final part of the emulative track the factor of density has a direct positive impact on the result, which leads to a change in the characteristics, and other, connected with it temporary signs, for example, the tempo or unmixed time of performance.

Melnikova O.A., Kostikova L.G.

Abstract

The problem of competitiveness has recently become especially urgent for young people and is a delayed result of education, since it is determined not so much by the current demand for and employment of a graduate as by his mobility in the labor market, the long success of his professional career. Modern society requires improving the quality of vocational education, a high level of professional training and needs competitive specialists that meet the requirements of professional standards. A special specificity is manifested in this regard in the training of engineering personnel, since the activities of an engineer managing technologically complex processes require greater returns, considerable intellectual, moral and physical costs, a high level of professional culture formation. The article considers the problem of forming the competitiveness of a future specialist as one of the main problems facing higher education institutions. Competitiveness of the student, his professional mobility should be ensured by the high quality of the results of educational activity, the system integration of which ensures the formation of a mobile personality, a person free and responsible, capable of creative activity, ready for a large-scale realization of their potential opportunities. Considering the qualities of the personality, manifested in the physical culture and sports defining competitiveness, we proceeded from an understanding of the essence of competitiveness as one of the personality's ability to social, psychological and physical development. The purpose of our work is to determine the role of physical culture in the formation of professional competitiveness of future specialists of a technical university. The analysis of the scientific literature has shown that conceptual ideas on formation of professional competitiveness of students by means of physical culture in higher educational institutions have insufficient scientific substantiation. Many researchers are making attempts to identify ways and means to ensure the formation of competitiveness of the student's personality. In this regard, new approaches are needed in higher education for the formation of competitiveness of specialists in engineering specialties.

The low level of physical readiness of the students of Omsk State Technical University (OSTU), revealed as a result of the research, made it possible to draw the conclusion about the need for purposeful preparation of students for the all-around RWD. A program was developed for preparing students to pass the standards of the RWD complex in accordance with the requirements of the VI stage. The cycle of preparation of the program consists of 3 mesocycles, which include classes of various orientations depending on the emphasis on certain types of RWD. As a result of the pedagogical experiment it was established that the use of the developed program provides a statistically higher increase in the indicators of the overall physical preparedness of students, in comparison with the traditional program. The significant progress of the results in the most lagging types of the complex is revealed. This makes it possible to increase the number of students who successfully passed the norms of a new complex of RWD and who want to actively engage in mass sports.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND MOTIVATION OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS OF THE ADULT POPULATION IN RUSSIA AND ABROAD

Pashchenko L.G.

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of materials of foreign and domestic sources, the illuminating features of the implementation of the state policy in the sphere of physical culture and sports in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, characterizing the level of physical activity of adults and the motives of physical culture lessons. Physical activity of the population and the motives of physical culture and sports in the analyzed publications were determined using questionnaires. The results showed the ambiguity of assessing the level of physical activity of the population due to the lack of a common approach for its determination in various countries. The number of physically inactive population ranges from 10% to 80%. The physical activity of women is lower than men's. Not confirmed the thesis of the world health organization on a higher level of physical activity of the population in developed countries, compared with countries with low income. Physical activity depends on the implemented in the countries of state programs. The motives of physical culture and sports of the adult population do not differ in our country and abroad.

THE TECHNOLOGY OF THE INTEGRATED APPLICATION OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND ACUPRESSURE IN PEOPLE WITH CERVICAL OSTEOCHONDROSIS

Petukhov N.A., Petukhova O.V., Ivanitsky V.N.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the study with the use of the pedagogical experiment to determine the effectiveness of the developed technology of complex use of health-improving physical culture and acupressure in people with cervical osteochondrosis. Into pedagogical experiment two groups of subjects (control and experimental) with 12 persons in each group have been involved. In this paper other methods of research have been used: the analysis of literary sources, pedagogical observation, control tests, and mathematical statistics with the application of the Wilcoxon criterion. In the experimental group health-improving physical culture have been used taking into account the characteristics of the four kinetic conditions, they are sparing, restorative, regenerating, and training. The acupressure was being performed on a person’s head, on five symmetrically located paired points and one unpaired point. In the control group, health-improving physical culture was applied by the conventional method with the features of the three conditions of patients: acute, subacute, and remission. The massage of the neck and shoulder girdle of the subjects was carried out manually, according to the classical scheme. During the pedagogical experiment, all the observed indices in the experimental and control groups improved. In the control group, the strength of the left hand was by 1.9 kg (6.1%) better. The strength of the right hand became by 2.2 kg (7.5%) better. The data of the power endurance of the abdominal muscles became better by 2.3 of lifting (9.1%) as well as the ones of the power endurance of back muscles have increased by 3.5 seconds (12.1%) Whereas, in the experimental group, the changes of these figures were expressed greater. Thus, the strength of the left hand increased by 4.9 kg (14%). The strength of the right hand enlarged by 4.2 kg (4.1%) respectively. Also the indicators of strength endurance of abdominal muscles increased significantly by 4.2 of lifting (34.5%), and the ones of power endurance of back muscles by 6.1 sec. (21.3 %). All the changes of figures in the experimental group were reliable (P < 0.05). The results of the pedagogical observations corroborate the dynamics of changes in the condition of the respondents during the pedagogical experiment. Their subjective assessments of sleep, appetite and mood (SAM) began to improve a bit earlier and in a more pronounced way in the experimental group. The data obtained in the course of the study showed that the developed technology can be recommended for practical use with the purpose of prevention or elimination of cervical osteochondrosis.

Popkov V.N.

Abstract

This article aims to draw the attention of novice researchers and their supervisors on shortcomings in planning and designing dissertations and theses, performed at the teaching professions. Currently published a large number of substantive and methodological literature, designed to assist degree candidates in the preparation, research, writing and designing of thesis. However, applicants and supervisors do not pay enough attention to the study of the requirements for the thesis, and make out their «image and likeness» of theses of other authors, while copying the mistakes of others and add their own. In this article the author attempted to point out the most common flaws and mistakes that occur in the dissertation. The article presents the General requirements for a master's thesis and examines the typical faults that occur when planning a study and documenting the results. Discusses typical mistakes in the most significant methodological characteristics that arise when planning and design undergraduates and graduate students thesis work; some recommendations for their elimination.

THE PHYSICAL PREPAREDNESS AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT OF 6-7 YEARS OLD CHILDREN ACCORDING TO THE HEALTH GROUPS

Starodubtceva I.V.

Abstract

Preservation and consolidation of young generation health is one of the important tasks of modern preschool education. A child is considered incapable of achieving high developmental results if they have some health issues. However, there is no scientific data to confirm this point of view. The aim is to study the particular qualities of physical preparedness and mental development of 6-7 year old children in I-III health group. 6-7 years old children from Tyumen participated in the research. Total number of the examined is 225 people (99 boys, 126 girls). Record examination, tests, mathematical statistics methods were used for the research. The research demonstrated that indicators of mental development and physical preparedness of 6-7 year old children, who belongs different health groups, do not have a significant differences by t-test of Student, and analysis (group average values) revealed different trends for boy and girl groups. The boys with health deviations show lower indicators of mental development and physical preparedness than their healthy peers. On the contrary, the girls with chronic diseases show better results (III health group). We give next recommendations to tutors: to give different amount of exercises to boys and girls within the same health group; to create favorable conditions for motor activity of the boys; to teach children to make motor acts consciously.
