In particular, comparative advantages and disadvantages of subsidies based on land area and volume of production are scrutinized. The analysis shows that in recent years the share of state support in the gross agricultural product has been declining mainly due to the significant increase in prices for agricultural products. The author maintains that in order to increase the effectiveness of support for agriculture in Azerbaijan, it is necessary to take into account the specific characteristics of small farms and market factors.</p>
В то же время для повышения эффективности механизма поддержки сельского хозяйства в Азербайджане необходимо учитывать особенности мелких фермерских хозяйств и рыночные факторы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>agriculture</kwd><kwd>state support</kwd><kwd>agrarian policy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>сельское хозяйство</kwd><kwd>государственная поддержка</kwd><kwd>аграрная политика</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Прохоренко П.
