Marker species are of great importance for biostratigraphy and section correlation. Tests <italic>Globotruncanita stuarti</italic> (De Lapparent, 1918) and <italic>Pseudotextularia elegans</italic> (Rzehak, 1891) are used as index species for local and regional biostratigraphic scales, and tests of the genus <italic>Rugoglobigerina</italic> Brönnimann, 1952 are for the faunal layers. The article provides a systematic description of important biostratigraphic species <italic>Pseudotextularia elegans</italic> (Rzehak, 1891), <italic>Rugoglobigerina rugosa</italic> (Plummer, 1927), <italic>R. hexacamerata</italic> Brönnimann, 1952, <italic>R. milamensis</italic> Smith and Pessagno, 1973, <italic>R. macrocephala</italic> Brönnimann, 1952 и <italic>Globotruncanita stuarti</italic> (De Lapparent, 1918), on the basis of which the age of the rocks of five sections of the Mountainous Crimea was determined.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p id="idm45181324550880">Планктонные фораминиферы широко распространены в верхнемеловых отложениях Горного Крыма. Маркирующие виды имеют большое значение для биостратиграфии и корреляции разрезов. Раковины Globotruncanita stuarti (De Lapparent, 1918) и Pseudotextularia elegans (Rzehak, 1891) используются в качестве видов-индексов для местных и региональных биостратиграфических шкал, а раковины рода Rugoglobigerina Brönnimann, 1952 – для слоев с фауной.
